Bloom

I'm a big fan of Cranium board games. I've already blogged about our last DI Cranium find. They've now branched out for the young toddler, and created a really fun game line that we've enjoyed for hours on end! It's called Bloom. The one we bought is this Seek and Find "Let's go to the Zoo" puzzle.

This one I found while shopping at Target for Boo's birthday. It was on the end of the aisle, marked down on clearance. It's a bunch of games in one.

It's a large, sturdy 24 piece puzzle that even Yaks can put together (with a little help). Once you put the puzzle together, you can work through a little spiral-bound deck of cards and you seek and find things. Examples are - Find something that is the color pink. Find TWO trains. Then they get more difficult and have you find something that starts with a certain letter. It's great and Boo's really enjoyed that part of it. The most fun is that the puzzle has a coating on it, and it comes with an erasable marker that you can actually circle the things you find! Good times, friends! With winter just around the corner, this might be a good busy indoor game, or Christmas gift to exchange with another family. We've sure been enjoying it around here!
