Diddles is by far our best, and most adventurous eater. She's willing to try anything, and there are very few food she doesn't like. She often sidles up to Josh when he's making something. Last week we got some pomegranates in our Bountiful Basket, and this is what ensued:
I don't know what's more funny about this clip: Diddles eating like a starved wolf, the fact she's eating a pomegranate in a ladybug costume, her calling them "beans", Yaks' mournful exclamations in the background about not being able to find his new book (my favorite line of his was, "It could have been misplaced! Anything BAD could have happened to it...HERE it is."), Boo plunking out "Angels We Have Heard on High" over and over and over again. This scene is straight out of "It's a Wonderful Life"!
And it is. :)

Interesting you'd put up a pomegranate. (cute clip!) Mom showed up with one in hand for me the night before Halloween and said, "Grandpa used to always give each of us daughters a pomegranate in our bucket...then we'd head out trick or treating. None us really know why, but we remember that he did." Random, huh. :)
