Happy Birthday, Peter!

Today is Peter's birthday. He's such a great kid and little brother. I have to keep reminding myself that he's not really a "kid" anymore. He's 22 today and a cancer survivor! How many 22-year-olds can say that? In response to our questions of how bad his chemo experience was, he smiled and said, "It really wasn't as bad as people said it would be." The great thing is, he's strong both physically and spiritually. He loves watching football and fly fishing. When we all get together, there is a tangible energy around him (and all my brothers), and you can tell there is no place they would rather be than with eachother. It's really great to see.

Peter doesn't read this blog, but I sure hope he has a great day today! Happy Birthday, Coachie!
