The kids were down to bed at their normal time, and Josh and I both fell asleep before 10. Ha. I've never been a stay-up-late kind of person.
New Year's Day we took a trip into "The City" to visit Spokane. Oh, big city with all your stores closeby, I've missed you! It was wet and cold, but we had a fun time wandering around Riverfront Park. They have a little Tram that you can take to view the falls, and a carousel to ride. That carousel is 100 years old this year, and the tails are made out of REAL horsehair! Then we hit the mall and sufficiently wore ourselves out until we decided to head for home.
Josh spent a lot of time outside with the kids riding bikes, and their Jeep car, playing in the snow, etc. It was awesome.
Since New Year's, I've been working on a few manageable goals that I want to work on this year. I haven't quite settled on a final list - more thoughts at the moment. Here's my rough draft list (with illustrations):
Find a new way to study the scriptures that works for me.
This is Boo's closet, and shoving everything into her closet
was her idea of "cleaning up the floor"
was her idea of "cleaning up the floor"
Slowly work on bringing my wardrobe into this decade.
Take time to appreciate the little things.
Get back to a respectable pre-pregnancy shape.
Have a little more hope that things are going to turn out all right!
Happy New Year, dear friends and family!

Those kids of yours are getting cuter and cuter! And you are reading my book recommend! haha. I LOVE that book. So much.
I like that rough draft :) Baby steps, I always say. Just take one day at a time and do what you can. You're doing great already!
Hey! I haven't talked to you guys in awhile- - Did you guys get a new camera?? We finally got a new computer to replace the one that smelled like burning hair when you used it. Its great...its an apple (or mac) so josh should be cherishing. Anyways...Looks like you guys are having a blast up there! It looks like such a pretty place. We always wanted to move to Pacific NW. Anways, Take care!
I didn't realize you are so close to Spokane. That was where our stake center was when we lived in Northern Idaho. I love the goal list (the illustrations are the best). Thanks for your posts, they make my day.
I too, didn't realize you were close to Spokane-how fun. Diddles is changing so much. What a cutie. I hope she starts sleeping on a better schedule for you. Good goals for this year. You are ambitious to have a list of many. I have just one or two at this point, but I'm sure your much better at getting them done :)
Wow! I absolutely loved your post. Your 'photo illustrated' goals were the best. You have to turn that into a poster or something. I just learned how to use google reader-- gosh that wasn't too hard! So hopefully I will check this more often. Fun seeing what you all are doing!

P.S. Love the 'Jeep Car.'
