Six Years

We were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple six years ago today. What a lovely day it was! Since our anniversary falls on a Sunday, we opted to observe the holiday yesterday (my Primary kids don't care that it's my anniversary). Yesterday was equally lovely with 70-degree temps and a free Saturday to spend time together. We hiked Hidden Falls with the kids and put them to bed, exhausted at 7:30pm. There wasn't a whole lot my 37-week pregnant self felt like doing, so we decided on Pei Wei take-out for dinner and enjoyed it on our comfy couch in our quiet house. We watched part of a movie and called it a night! Perfect.

Happy Anniversary! Those kind of celebrations are sometimes the best - quiet and personal. Congratulations again!

Congratulations! can't wait to hear about your little one soon. I'm impressed that you hiked Hidden Falls at 38 weeks though! You go girl!

Congratulations. Beautiful pictures. Happy Anniversary!

And, I loved the post on the baby anxieties. So true. Awe, how I wish I were closer so I could be some sort of useful to you. You're in my prayers.

Newborn really isn't fun. Isn't it liberating to just SAY that?! I found your candidness so refreshing. I think some of us think it's some sort of sin to admit that those early weeks are TORTURE. One night at a time we somehow get through it. Somehow those little beauties are so much easier to love when they start sleeping.

You're great, hang in there and keep us posted!
